NKRA Reports Should Also Be Displayed In States

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 (Bernama) -- Deputy minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Ahmad Maslan has proposed that the National Key Result Areas (NKRA) reports be displayed to the public in their respective states and also through websites to enable the rural folks to participate and evaluate.The evaluation of the six areas contained in the NKRA reports would be made known to the public on Thursday and Friday by the government, to show its commitment towards the People First concept."It is not a gimmick. We will display it for the public to see and evaluate. The people will be able to analyze and assess the performances of the respective NKRA areas," he told reporters at the Parliament Lobby here on Monday.Deputy minister of International Trade and Industry, Datuk Mukhriz Tun Mahathir said submitting the NKRA report to the public officially, would go to show that the leaders at all levels had done their best to cater for the need of the people."We are regularly getting feedback through various resources from all the relevant agencies. Some use the blogs, some through mobile phones and some when we meet the people," said Mukhriz.-- BERNAMA
